Dear student 
It is not hard if you prepare well enough daily , keeping your goal in mind. 
In 9 th grade , just focus on ncert well and start developing an attitude to solve question by your own , 
Appear in Science olympiad and maths olympiad , prepare well .

If you think that IIT is very hard from the starting itself you will never be able to crack it. You need to have a positive outlook in life to be able to crack JEE Main. To get a strong hold on concepts, start giving science as a subject the utmost level of concentration. While you may already be studying from NCERT slowly begin refering to reference books if you are in class 9. Concentrate on science as much as you can. You can also enrol yourself in an online course and start practicisng different questions.
