Defence Service candidates are defined as children of defence/paramilitary personnel killed or permanently disabled in action at war front or peacetime operations.

2 seatsare reserved for allotment in each institute under JEE Advancedfor DS candidates. However, in order to avail this preferential allotment, a DS candidate must qualify theJEE Advanced and hence, be in the Common Rank List of JEE.
DS Candidates are required to submit the following proforma for eligibility
