Vishal there is no such criteria for JEE that you need specific marks in a particular subject. But yes the JEE exam (Mains and Advance) for this year are over. Now you will have to write it in 2018.

Instead of wasting your year, better option is to look for private universites where admissions are still going on. Most of the private universities are a hub for quality education and good placement these days. They offer admission on basis of your marks in class 12, if your have scored very good in 12^th. Some offer admission on the basis of JEE scores. Some of them also conduct their own tests like BITS, LPU, MIT, etc.

Apart from offering quality education some of them offer scholarships to students on different criteria thereby making education affordable for all.
