Appearing in Jee mains is possible with your board score but getting a seat at NIT is purely dependent on your performance in the test. If you do a wonderful job, there’s nothing that can stop you getting a seat at NIT, but make sur that you prepare very well and do well in the test because every year the merit list goes up. Even if you could not get a seat at NIT, there is nothing to feel bad about, because I know about a few reputed institutions which are equally competetitors with the height and status of an NIT, these are – Quantum School Of Technology, Roorkee,.................Lovely Professional University, Phagwara,........................BITS, Mesra etc.
