Dear User !
You should not worry too much if you have not performed good in Jee Mains. See, taking drop is not a preety good idea ! It means that you will be 1 year behind in your career and also with your colleagues. It will be a complete wastage if you will not study hard to crack JEE.
So, try avoiding the idea of taking drop. However, if you are a very brilliant student and think that you can study very hard and are sure that 1 year is sufficient for you to prepare for IIT , then you can think to take drop.
Secondly, my personal advice to you is that try out giving other exams as well. Like you can give Bitsat and other state level exams. These exams may also prove beneficial for you. For example, if you got selected for Bitsat , then you will feel happy that it is the best private college in India for engineering !
So, try out giving other exams , if you don’t find any way then only go for thr last idea of taking drop!
Other important thing , just go through the mistakes that you have done in the paper and see the correct solutions to that mistakes. Also watch out the topics that you felt were hard and those which you feel you are weak in. Strengthen your weak topics. See all this will help you to perform very good in other exams as well.
Hope my answer proves beneficial to you !
