Hi! What is the purpose of the JEE Mains and JEE Advanced tests?Some people told me that appearing in JEE Mains implies that one looses the chance to seek admission in NIT/IIIT. This seems quite risky...Is this correct? Thank you in advance for your clarification.

no its not risky at all you will not loose chance in geeting admission into nit or iit
infact you should definitely given jee main and advance tests
