Find the position vector of a point R which divides the line joining two points P and Q whose position vectors are (2 a vector + b vector ) and ( a vector - 3 b vector ) respectively, externally in the ratio 1:2. Also, show that P is the mid-point of the line segment RQ

Hii

It will be treated by the same formula with which we treat the line segment in external division.

Using this find the position vector of R .You can prove later that P is the mid point of RQ
