IIT JEE Entrance Exam

Dear Askiitians tutor,
One of my friend goes to a coaching class named FIITJEE in mubai. He is a pass out of 10th class this year from ICSE board. He scored 94% in his 10th class. It is his first time in a professional coaching institue. He is currently in class 11 and stared his IIT-JEE Advanced coaching in this year April. He works hard and tries his best. He tries to solve his study material and is regular to his classes. But inspite of this he scores poorly in his FIITJEE exams. He is still able to solve some JEE Advanced level questions. But he is continously discouraged by the coaching institute regarding his IIT dream. The teachers and the faculty there have failed to recognize his hard work and his dedication towards the goal just becasue of his constant poor marks. Another point to be noted is the teste they conduct are really tough- some questions are even beyond the JEE ADVANCE difficulty level and requirement. So my question to you is how should he gather confidence regarding his JEE Preparation since there another year left. How should he be motivated towards his final goal. And is it impossible for him to reach his goal???
Thank You

Just bear in mind the following guidelineand kindly convey it to your friend as well –Stay focused on your studies and keep in mind that one must focus on Physics, Chem and Maths, try to fortify these three, take some coaching classes from a reputed place like Akash Inst etc, then to download previous years’ question paper of JEE mains and advanced and practice solving them, try to enhance speed to answer maximum questions in lesser possible time and finally appear in Jee mains – do well – then appear in JEE Advanced – do well again, It would be better if you would mix the subjects that is do Physics for two-three days, then, may be shift to some topic of Chemistry or Math. This would help keeping things not-exhausting.Now, once you have brushed up a topic, solve some random problems from a book specifically on that topic. Now the most important task during all this is to mark the examples or formulae you find difficult to remember and then keep an eye on IITs/NITs counselling rounds and thus institutions are allotted otherwise ther may be second option to visit the official websites of some renowned institutions offering technical studies....to name a few – Bhagwan Parshuram Inst of Tech, Delhi,.......Faculty of Engg and Tech, Manav Rachna International Uni, Faridabad,........Lovely Professional Uni, Phagwara,...........JJTU Rajasthan
