Majorly, students opt for JEE-Mains and Advanced for getting into premium institutes of central level and at state level universities. Apart from these, there are many exams conducted by private universities and state universities for filling their seats. Like BITSAT, GGSIPU-CEE, VIT, UPTUEE, PET-CEE.

I would advice you to prepare for JEE as it has a countrywide acceptance of the scores and are considered for counselling even in many state countries.
