Can object be placed on both side of mirror or lenses???

Yes, you can place it on both the sides of any lens, either concave or convex, it will have the same effect. But since a mirror is a reflector, the object can be placed only facing it’s reflecting side.

Let S={x:x belongs to R(√3+√2)^(x^2-4) - (√3-√2)^(x^2-4)=10}. Then n(S) is equal to-

Sum of series 2[n/2] ! [n/2]!/ n! [2Co-2C2+3C2....+[-1]^n[n+1]2Cn] where n is an even positive integer. Kindly provide solution of this question and how to generalise this. How do we know that which expansion will give this?
