These three IISERs have been formed in the spacing of a year, i.e.,Pune (2006) , Mohali (2007) and Mohali (2008).These colleges have their sole purpose in getting students who are interested in research in the field of Basic Sceinces(Physics,Chemsitry,Mathematics & Biology), Environmental Science and Humanities.They have various academic programs, such as, Integrated Masters Program, Doctoral Program and Integrated Doctoral Program.
If you are interested interested in being a researcher then it’s the place to be. Admissions to these colleges is through:
  1. KVPY (Kishore Vigyanik Protsahan Yojana)
  2. IIT JEE- merit list
  3. State and Central Boards( top 1% in each board)
