Greater than mgcos30 . The tension in the string has to balance the component of mg in the direction of tension and also provide the necessary centripetal force. So, tension in the string is given by:
T=mv^2/r + mgcosθ
Thus, T will always be either greater than or equal to mgcosθ. There, T is greater than mgcos30.
