A simple pendulum having a bob of mass m isended from the ceiling of a car used in asuspstunt film shooting. The car moves up alongan inclined cliff at a speed v and makes a jumpto leave the cliff and lands at some distance.Let R be the maximum height of the car fromthe top of the cliff. The tension in the stringwhen the car is in air is

At maximum height car will be horizontal and string will be vertical thus tension in string will simply be mg that is the weight of pendulum

Im wrong in my first answer u will need to add mv^2/r to mg as pendulum is in circular motion too!! Just calculate v and add up
