Since they are falling from rest, we have kinetic energy.Now using kinetic energy K= work done by charge=charge×potential. And also we have K=1/2mv².

Therefore, k_a/k_b=q×v/9q×v = 1/2mv_a²/1/2mv_b².

Now on solving you will get ratios of speed.

Let S={x:x belongs to R(√3+√2)^(x^2-4) - (√3-√2)^(x^2-4)=10}. Then n(S) is equal to-
