Dear student,

The loss in heat energy of the copper ball is equal to gain in energy of the calorimeter+water system

\implies m_{ball}C_{copper}(T-75)=m_{calorimeter}C_{copper}(75-30)+m_{water}C_{water}(75-30)
We know thatC_{water}=1 cal/g^{\circ}C
Using the given values we getT=885^{\circ}C
