For the 1st object,u = 0v = 3m/s As the body is dropped from a height,So a = g = 10m/s2Using v2 = u2 + 2gh32 = 02 + 2(10)h9 = 20hh = 9/20mAs the second object is also dropped from the same heightSo for the second objecth = 9/20mu = 4m/sv = ?Again using v2 = u2 + 2ghv2 = 42 + 2(10)(9/20)v2 = 16 + 9v = root 25v = 5m/sThe final velocity of second object is 5m/s.
