See this question involves use of calculus.
v=t-2
so,integrating both sides,s=t^2/2-2t
Another thing to be noted is at t=0.v=-2 and at t=4,v=2(opposite direction)
at t=2,v=0.So calculate displacement from t=0 to 2 seconds and double it(2 to 4)Thus answer is 4m.(b)
NOTE:Here calculus is required bcoz velocity is a function of time.
