A candidate who qualified JEE (Main) in 2013 and admitted in NITs and wants to write JEE (Advanced) - 2014. Does he need to write JEE (Main) - 2014?

Yes. He needs to write the Paper-1 of JEE (Main) - 2014. If selected within the top 1,50,000 (including all categories), the candidate will be able to write the JEE (Advanced) - 2014.
