The IIT Bombay has released the proposed the subjective exam pattern of JEE Advanced 2014. The pattern has been approved by IIT Bombay Senate and has been forwarded to all the other IIT’s Senates for review.
As per this pattern, candidates will not be required to solve the MCQ type questions and the paper will be subjective. The students will however not be required to write long answers. They have to answer the questions but NOT STEPWISE. As per the JEE Advanced 2014 Subjective Exam Pattern, the subjective questions will have to be answered by filling the BLANKS in them.
No choice will be given in any question and candidates have to provide answers by themselves. After the approving of this proposal by all the other senates, JEE Advanced 2014 Subjective Exam Pattern will be presented at the JAB Meeting.
As per the officials, it is difficult to judge the candidates’ understanding of subjects as the right answer can be found out by eliminating the three wrong choices. When they independently solve questions, their actual understanding is tested. Hence the JEE Advanced 2014 Subjective Exam Pattern is proposed.
