sir when i look for eligibility criteria for iit jee i found that it say that the student should have 60% of marks in aggregate ... sir please tell me what does this aggregate means here wether i should get indivdually get 60 marks in each subject or i should have total of 60% or higher ... i got 57 marks in chemistry but my % in pcm is 66%... so am i eligible to give iit jee 2013 .. i am a dropper

The criteria is 60% minimum aggregate. It''s just your over all score that matters. If your combined score is over 60%, you''re fine.

According to the latest JEE format a student having  more than60% of marks in 12th class marksheet then he is eligible for JEE.

It is not necessary to get 60% in each subject.

You must have a grant total of 60% or more.

And only pcm marks are not considered it is counted including all the subject
