I'm 12th passed student,my percentage is 40, am i eligible for iit entrance exam?

as your % is 40 i wud reccomend u to take ur complete class xii exam again and achieve a very good score i.e. abt 85%. with this u will b in top 85% and will b eligible for iit entrance exam.
