You can solve it by graphical approach approach you can think of intersection of 2 graphs y = sinx and y = x/100
now sinx remains within [-1,1] first consider positive values of x then x/100 touches 1 at 100 which comes out to be around 31.8 pie by dividing by 3.14 so if we think about the intersections there will be 32 intersections including 0 and similarly there will be 31 intersections on negative side excluding zero as we have counted it earlier.
Hence there are a total of 63 intersections.
