Why is the time taken in a parabolic path to reach the topmost point equal to the time take to reach the the bottom from the topmost point ?

Dear student,
The parabolic path is symmetrical about the vertex. The vertex of the parabolic path is at the highest point and therefore it takes an equal amount of time to reach the top and the same time to reach the bottom from the top.
