question mark

why is kinetic energy not changing in a ciclular motionalthough we know that the velocity varies in a circular motion? i got the ansbecause centripital accleration remains constant.that is v^2/r.as v reamins constant.but im not satisfied can i get another reason

Analyse the formula of Kinetic energy energy again.
It is K=1/2 mv^2
where v=speed of the object and not velocity
And in uniform circular motion although the velocity changes due to change in direction but speed remains constant throughout the motion.
Hence, v is constant and the kinetic energy remains constant.
Hope this helps
