Analyse the formula of Kinetic energy energy again.It is K=1/2 mv^2where v=speed of the object and not velocityAnd in uniform circular motion although the velocity changes due to change in direction but speed remains constant throughout the motion.Hence, v is constant and the kinetic energy remains constant.Hope this helps
