Why in circular motion, a Bob of mass get fallen down in the upper half still having a component of mg?

Its falling or not falling doesnt depends on mg but it depends on its initial velocity because at top most point its velocity should be greater >=root (gr). If mg dominates over root (gr) then it will fall and vice versa.
