Why does relativity has a postulate that speed of light ill be same for an observers at different speeds? Example if i am moving in the direction of light, I should observe the speed of light lesser.

I think its because of the time delation which is caused when we go at a very high speed. I dont know the correct answer but as of 11, i think its because of that. As the mass and length changes as we go at a speed nearer to the speed of light, the time also changes when we approach at a speed of light.
