Dear Ashwin,
While moving in a curved path, the cyclist experiences a centrifugal force to counterbalence that centrifugal force cyclist lean inward , this make the centrifugal force balenced by a component of mg ..
Thanks and Regards

cyclist curve inward  to approch necessary centripetal force for taking safely curve which is provided by force of friction.
as centripetal force f =mv2?/r
let weight of cyclist =mg. normal reaction R act due to his weight now resolving R into 2 components
i.e
  1. Rsin\Theta?= providing necessary centripetal force =mv?2?/r
  2. ???Rcos\Theta?= normal reaction of cyclist weight =weight of cyclist act vertically downward
  3. from 1 and 2
we get Rsin\Theta/Rcos\Theta =mv2?/r/mg
now sin/cos\Theta =v2?/rg
tan\Theta?=v?2/rg
