For a given volume, sphere has minimum surface area due to surface tension. Hence small rain
drops are spherical in nature. Similarly bubbles are also spherical.

Drops and bubbles try achieve the minimum volume, and since they sphere has the minimum volume, drop and bubble becomes spherical in shape.
