The cornea at first the main source which makes the light fall though the pupil into the lense present inside the eye attached to the walls of the eye by muscles and also the pupil restricts the flow of the light inside the eye.

The lense is the main part that focuses the light perfectly into the retina to be viewed properly and sharply. It is done by the vitreous humor which is present between the lense and retina which diffracts the light to reach the fovea centralist of the retina to be viewed properly.
