When a ray of light is incident on a glass slab , it gets refracted and hence its speed in the medium changes and consequently its kinetic energy gets decreased . But this is against the law of conservation of energy!!! Please help how is this so

bcuz when a light ray is incident on glass some part of ray is refracted, some part of ray is refracted and some part will be absored by slab (very small part)
so the sum of K.E of refracted ray and reflected ray + amount of energy of absorbed gives T.E
