Add them to get maximum magnitude.     (2i+3j) + (5i-2j) = 7i+j
Hence maximum magnitude = square root of (72 + 12)  =  square root of (50)
Substract them to get minimum magnitude.     (2i+3j) –  (5i-2j) = – 3i+ 5j
Hence minimum magnitude = square root of [(-3)2 + 52)  =  square root of (34)
