what is the capacitance when capacitor passes a current of 31.43 ma when supplied with 40 v ac with a frequency of 1000hz?

Voltage across the capacitance = > 40 V.
Hence, 
40 = 31.43 x 10^-3/(2*pi*1000)*C
We get,
C = 0.000125 x 10^-3 Farad
or 
C = 125 nF.
