let the distance travelled by 1st drop be S1 in time t seconds
so the distannce travelled by 2nd drop be S2 in time t/2 seconds due to equal intervals.
S = ut + (1/2)at2
hence,  S1 = 0 + ½ at2
S2 = 0 + ½ a(t/2)2
S1:S2 = 4:1
