Dear student,
Horizontal velocity vector for both the stones would be =>
Stone 1 and 2 => vcos30 and vcos60 respectively.
Relative x velcoty would be => vcos60 – vcos30 => v(1/2 – root(3)/2)

Vertical velocity would be =>
Stone 1 and 2 => vsin30 and vsin60 respectively.
Relative velcity would be => vsin60 – vsin30 => v(root3/2 – 1/2)
Resultant velocity => root((v(root3/2 – 1/2))^2 + (v(1/2 – root(3)/2))^2) =>root2*v(1/2 – root(3)/2) m/s
