two particles P and Q are moving with constant velocities of (i+j) m/s and (-i+2j) m/s . at time t=0 P is at origin and Q is at a point with position vector (2i+j)m. if the equation of the trajectory of Q observed by P is x+2y=n then find n

Position vector of Q wrt P is (2i + j) this means coordinates (2,1) also equation of trajectory is given as x+2y = n. Putting values x = 2 and y = 1 in this equation we get : 2 + 2 (2) = 4 .Hence n=4.
