a). The light ray must travel from denser to rarer medium.
b). The angle of incidence in the denser medium must be greater than the critical angle.
c). If C is the Critical angle and μ is the refractive index, then μ =1/sinC

when light is moving from denser mediam to rarer mediam if the angule of incidence is greaterthan the critical angule then the entired light is reflected insted of refraction is called the “total internal refraction”.
