The two mirrors should be at an angle of 90 degrees and the object should be equidistant from and at the centre of both the mirrors. Two images are formed one in each mirror and one at the junction point of both the mirrors.

No. of Images = (360o/theta) – 1
3 = (360o/theta) – 1
4 = 360o/theta
theta = 360o/4
theta = 90o
