1W sodium vapour lamp’s luminous flux is more than the ultraviolet radiation’s 10 kW source.
This is due to the reason that a 1 W sodium vapour lamp is 589.6 nm or 589 nm. Whereas, the UV radiation has the luminosity as zero.
Luminous power or luminous flux in photometry is the measure of the perceived light’s power.
From the radiant flux, it differs. The radiant flux is the measure of electromagnetic radiation’s total power in which luminous flux is attuned to replicate the changing sensitivity of the human eye to dissimilar light’s wavelengths.
