When 2 vectors are taken as the adjacent sides of parallelogram preserving their magnitude and direction then their resultant vector is given as in magnitude and direction by the diagonal of parrallelogram starting from the same point towards the diagonally opposite corner

 if 2  co -initial vectors are represented as the adjacent sides of a parallelogram both in magnitude and direction then their resultant vector is represented both in magnitude as well as direction by the diagonall of the parallelogram..
