For a pendulum, we know, T= 2pi root( L/a)
here, T is time period 
L is effective length of the pendulum
a is the effective downward acceleration (in general cases, g)
In the given question, this a= g+g/4 = 5g/4
Putting in the above equation, we get 
the time period = 2T/root(5)
So, answer should be (C)
