Q: The maximum and minimum magnitude of resultant of two vectors are ,17 & 7. Yhen yhe magnitude of resultant of the vector when they act perpendicular to each other.

Let the magnitude of the vectors be a and b.
Then,maximum magnitude of resultant =  a+b = 17
 and  minimum magnitude of resultant =  a-b = 7
Solving the above equations we get a= 12 and b = 5.
When a b ,then the magnitude of their resultant = √(a2+b2) = √(122+52) = 13
