here equate centrifugal force and gravitational force with question condition
mr\omega ^{2}=G\frac{m_{1}m_{2}}{r^{\frac{3}{2}}}
assume Gm1m2 = k constant
mr\omega ^{2}=kr^{-\frac{3}{2}}
now 
\omega ^{2}=\frac{k}{m}r^{-\frac{5}{2}}
now put the value of omega
\omega =\frac{2\pi }{T}
and simplify the equation
\frac{4\pi ^{2}}{T^{2}}=\frac{k}{m}r^{-\frac{5}{2}}
remove constants from the equation
{T^{2}}\propto r^{\frac{5}{2}}
so x = 5/2
