Dear student,We can write the vectors in terms of unit vectors as-$\dpi{80} \vec{OA}=r\hat{i}$$\dpi{80} \vec{OB}=r\hat{j}$$\dpi{80} \vec{OC}=\dfrac{1}{\sqrt{2}}(\hat{i}+\hat{j})$Hence the resultant vector is$\dpi{80} (1+\dfrac{1}{\sqrt{2}})\hat{i}+(1+\dfrac{1}{\sqrt{2}})\hat{j}$Magnitude of the resultant=$\dpi{80} \sqrt{2}(1+\dfrac{1}{\sqrt{2}})=\sqrt{2}+1$
