A) a and b are parallel vectors. so transpose b to the head of a to get a straight line. Transpose c on its head and
draw the resultant vector R from tail of a to head of c.
A right triangle is formed. R=((a+b)2+c2)^(1/2)
Direction of R is tan-1((a+b)/c)
b) a and c are parallel. so transpose c on head of a.
Transpose b to head of c. join tail of a with head of b
to get a right triangle whose hypostenuse is Resultant vector R. R=((a+c)2+b2)^(1/2)
Direction of R=tan-1(b/(a+c))
