We generally think of electric current as a scalar quantity. When we think of
1/4th amp or 20 amps, we think of an amount (a scalar quantity) of current flow.On another plane, the electromagnetic forces at work in current generation are actually force vectors. In the traditional sense, electric current, which is the movement of electrons, is from negative to positive. This is not a vector,
though. In the macro or "large" world, think of current as scalar.
