The term "physical content or quantity" usually refers to the number and its units, not just the dimensions. For example, the *value* of an object`s temperature is said to be a physical quantity.For example, the ratio of the temperature of a desk to the temperature of a chair (both measured in K) has the same units or dimensions as the ratio of the water in my glass to the water in my body (both measured in liters). But they don`t represent teh same physical content.Moreover, even potential and kinetic energy of an object has same units and dimensions but they represent totally different physical contents.
