If distance can be expressed in terms of length only i.e. M^0L^1T^0, then why it is not considered as a fundamental quantity which means it doesn’t depend on any other phy quant?

Dimansional formula usually expresses as combination of fundamental quantities.
Distance is itself a function of length which involves in dimensional formula.
