As we know the formula,
Distance travelled in nth second (S) = 
S = u +(1/2)* f *(2n-1)
Put the value of u = 0, f = 8 m/sec^2, n= 5
Hence
S =(1/2)*8*(2*5 -1)
S = 36 metres
