Draw the free body diagram for each mass. Since 8kg is greater than (5+2) therefore net accelaration will be for 8kg downwards and 5 and 2kg will move upwards.
Now for 8kg body, the equation is
mg – T = ma, where m = 8 and T is the tension on the string attached to it.
For 5kg body, two tension act on it, for the upper longer string the tension is T and for the lower short string between 5kg and 2kg, the tension is T1 which we are supposed to calculate. 
So for 5kg, the equation is T – ( mg + T1 ) = ma , here m=5
 
And for 2kg, only tension T1 is directly acting on it so equation is
 
T1 – mg = ma here m=2,
 
Solve these three and you will get the answer :)
