Grade upto college level General Physics

I performed really very bad in all my entrance examination finally i can get admission into symbiosis institute of technology pune through my IIT JEE score......so i just want to know whether i should go for it or should i take a drop of 1 year???plzzz answer this question in detail and plzzz plzzz plzz help me out in this matter...thanking u all in advance........
